Hi everyone! Welcome to the December 2023 edition of the Quilt Block Club. This month, we’re thrilled to open the Quilt Block Library! Introducing the Quilt Block Club Library!
The Quilt Block Club Library, a fantastic new feature that’s all set to elevate your quilting journey. This library is a treasure trove of Quilt Block PDF Patterns. These patterns are carefully curated to be both timely and enjoyable to create. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been quilting for years, there’s something for everyone. There is a diverse range of skill levels and piecing types. From classic traditional piecing to intricate curve piecing, and even some fun Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) patterns! Our Quilt Block Library is designed to inspire and challenge you. The best part? These patterns are always available for sale in our online shop. But, they’re completely free for the active members of our Quilt Block Club. It’s our way of saying thank you for being a part of our vibrant community. Quilt Block Club Swaps for 2024
Even though it was still 2023, we love to get fun activities lined up for the new year! That’s exactly what we did! The Quilt Block Club announced a 2024 Swap Schedule that includes 6 swaps. Each swap is a different project and Quilt Block Club members get to participate for FREE! That’s just another perk of being a Quilt Block Club Member. Now, other folks (non-members) are welcome to join the swap fun, but they must purchase a participation ticket. We have single tickets or annual tickets for sale. Doubling Down on Discounts
Every month, our valued Quilt Block Club members get a special treat! They get an exclusive 20% off coupon for anything in the Sew Much Moore shop. Exciting news: We had a Bag Hardware Liquidation event in December. I tweaked the rules to let members stack this discount on top of the sale prices! This was all about making space for more fabulous fabrics, as the bag hardware was cramping our style.
Remember the days when I was all about bag making? Well, times have changed, and now it’s all about quilting! This means out with the old and in with the new fabric! This opportunity wasn’t just for quilters who dabble in bag making. Many of you snagged great deals by combining your 20% club discount with the liquidation prices. Join Our Updated Clubhouse!
We’re thrilled to announce an exciting update for the Sew Much Moore community! Our Quilt Block Club has now moved from Circle to a Private Facebook Group, creating an exclusive Quilt Block Clubhouse. This change is all about enhancing your experience with us. We realized that many of our members, and potential members too, are already active on Facebook.
Hosting our Clubhouse in this space made this a familiar and easy-to-use platform for everyone. To maintain the exclusivity of our group, it’s important to note that this Clubhouse is for members only. When requesting to join, you’ll be asked to provide the email address associated with your Quilt Block Club membership. In December, our members actively shared their stunning projects in this new, members-only space. It’s not just a place to showcase your creations; every post increases your chances of winning our monthly prize. Guest Interview: Jessica with Jessica Steele Design
We had a great guest for our Quilt Block Club celebrity interview. We had the pleasure of chatting with Jessica Steele of Jessica Steele Design. Jessica’s unique journey from an athletic background to the vibrant world of quilting is nothing short of inspiring. She shared how her upbringing in a sports-centric family has shaped her approach to quilting and design. This has brought a fresh perspective to the craft. Jessica has learned to balancing her role as a full-time mom and a quilter. Jessica delved into the challenges and triumphs she experienced in her previous professional roles.
