Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum Quilt

The Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum Quilt uses an assortment of holiday fabrics to make this adorable, modern holiday quilt. The throw size is even fat quarter friendly! Naming this quilt was so much fun! I polled my friends and came back with the Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum as my favorite! I made 3 sample quilts already and have a fourth quilt in process! Just take a look at these samples so far!

Red & White Version

I love a red and white quilt! This Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum sample was made with Fat Quarters from the Adel in Winter Fat Quarter Bundle by Sandy Gervais for Riley Blake Designs. The background fabric is Vintage Red, a Painter’s Palette Solid for PBS Fabrics. I made this sample in the throw size, so it was simple to use a few of the Fat Quarters from the bundle and have plenty left over for more quilts or other Holiday projects! I pieced this quilt on my Juki TL2010Q!

Modern Version

I also made a modern version of the Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum Quilt. You may already know that I just love solid fabrics and the Painter’s Palette Solids by PBS Studio are amazing! I used the some of my favorite colors as the Fat Quarters in this quilt sample. Bubblegum, Abyss, Pale Pink, Jade, Real Red, and I used Mahogany for the tree trunks and also Handmade Holidays for the fun print.

A Blue Christmas

My last Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum Quilt was made with a blue background! I just love this variation of my pattern!

I used a Cuddle backing and it is soooooo cozy!

I used the Snow Blaze by The Quilting Mill edge to edge quilting design. The design stitched up beautifully and am in love with this version of my quilt pattern.

The background fabric, called Revel, can be found in my online shop. The trees and star blocks are made with a portion of a Fat Quarter Bundle called Warm Wishes by Simple Simon and Co for Riley Blake Designs.

I love the color choices in the vintage red and mauve/blue. In person these quilts are delicious. I decided to do the vintage red version and will be starting in January to make sure I am ready for next Christmas.

  2. Great pattern! Thanks for sharing – I first looked at this without my glasses on, and one of the trees looked like a gnome! I might sneak one in!
