In this example, I used scraps from my fabric bin, including some leftover Halloween-themed fabric along with white and black fabrics. The pattern’s versatility allows you to choose any fabric combination that fits your style or the occasion.

Cutting and Assembling the Block

After selecting your fabrics, the next step is cutting out all the necessary pieces. I recommend using scraps from your fabric bin, just as I did. Once the pieces are cut, the block assembly is straightforward. The pattern includes split quarter square triangles, which add a unique touch to the design. I like to use my Creative Grids ruler for this step, as its clear markings help me achieve accurate piecing. I also love using my Oliso Mini Iron (called the M3Pro). It gets all hot and steamy at just the right places!

Finishing the Block
