Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum QAL Recap
The Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum Quilt-A-Long ran from September 19 to November 7, 2025, bringing quilters together for eight weeks of creative stitching. This fat-quarter-friendly pattern inspired participants with fun techniques and engaging projects. First, let’s take a look back at the progress week by week!

Building the Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum Quilt — Week by Week
Fabric Pull – Week 1
Participants kicked off the QAL by sharing their fabric pulls, ranging from cozy classics to bold prints. Here’s a peek at some of the fabrics from Bridget and Laura.

My Fabric Selection
I just love a Christmas theme fabric for a Christmas quilt and that’s why I chose to use the ChristmasPeace fabric collection and paired it up with some Painter’s Palette Solids and Moda Grunge. I also used a Moda Grunge for my background. You can get something similar by purchasing this fabric bundle!

Cutting Fabric – Week 2
Next came the cutting! Beautiful stacks of color and pattern began to take shape for each quilt. Bridget and Laura shared photos of their cut fabrics this week. We are grateful for this week’s sponsor, Famore Rotary Cutters.

Small Trees – Week 3
Following that, quilters pieced together the small tree blocks, bringing the first part of the pattern to life. Our participants, Pat and Joy shared photos of their creations. This week’s prize was the Add-A-Quarter Ruler and was sponsored by CM Designs.

Tall Trees – Week 4
Next, the tall tree blocks, adding height and visual interest to each quilt. Check out what Pat and Laura created this week. The prize for this week was the Glow Mini light board with translucent cutting mat. This was sponsored by Cutterpillar.

Star Blocks – Week 5
Afterwards, our participants completed star blocks adding variety and contrast to the quilts, and we would love to acknowledge this week’s sponsored; Oliso. They generously donated a M3Pro Project Iron!

Finishing the Quilt – Week 6, 7 , and 8
Finally, quilters assembled their quilt tops, added quilting, and finished with binding, completing their beautiful Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum quilts. I have mine ready for quilting and Agnes shared her finished quilt, featuring all the patterns.

To conclude, we would love to say congratulations to everyone who joined the Quilt-A-Long! Throughout these eight weeks, your creativity and dedication brought each quilt to life. Thank you for sharing your Twinkle Twinkle Tannenbaum creations with us!
