Tote Bag Swap Recap

Our Tote Bag Swap just wrapped up—and wow, did our community bring the creativity! Participants from all over the country (and a few from abroad!) exchanged beautifully handmade tote bags, each full of personality, color, and care.

This swap was open to everyone, and we loved welcoming both new and returning makers. Quilt Block Club members enjoyed free access, but whether you joined through email, social media, or a friend’s recommendation, we’re so glad you were part of it!

One of the best parts of recapping this swap? Browsing through all the photos and stories shared by our amazing community! From sleek, modern designs to playful and colorful styles—and everything in between—each tote bag was bursting with creativity and personality. Some makers used fabrics from their favorite stash, while others chose fresh colors and patterns inspired by their swap partners. Every bag was truly one-of-a-kind, making this swap extra special.

A Joyful Zoom Celebration

To wrap up the swap, we hosted a lively Zoom gathering where participants could connect, show off their finished tote bags, and share the stories behind them. These virtual meetups are always a highlight—it’s so heartwarming to see everyone’s reactions in real time. When swap partners meet face-to-face (even virtually), it adds a special spark to the experience. We shared laughs, heartfelt moments, and plenty of admiration for all the beautiful bags on display.
