Table Runner Swap Recap

The Table Runner Swap Recap is here—and let me just say, our community really showed up for this one! We had swappers from all over the country (and even a few international friends!) exchanging beautifully handmade table runners, and it was so fun to see the creativity, care, and color that went into each one.

This swap was open to the public, but Quilt Block Club members got to join in for free as one of their many perks. Whether you’re a longtime member or just discovered the swap through our email list or social posts, it was such a joy to have you participate.

So Many Beautiful Table Runners

One of my favorite things about putting together this Table Runner Swap Recap is going through the photos and posts shared in our Facebook group. From modern geometrics to seasonal designs and everything in between, it’s clear that everyone brought their A-game. Some folks used favorite fabrics from their stash, others picked fresh palettes just for their partner. Every single runner was one-of-a-kind.

Take a peek at just a handful of the amazing pieces shared during the swap:

Making New Quilty Friends

At the heart of every swap is connection—and this one was no different. All participants received a partner assignment and had a chance to chat before making and mailing their finished runner. Many of you formed new friendships along the way, and I love seeing how this community continues to grow through these shared experiences.

The Zoom Wrap-Up Party

To celebrate the end of the swap, we hosted a Zoom call where swappers could hop on, say hello, and share their shared table runners. These calls are always a highlight for me! There’s nothing better than seeing people’s reactions in real time—and it’s extra special when partners get to meet face-to-face (even virtually). We laughed, we swapped stories, and we admired each other’s beautiful work.

Until Next Time…

I hope you enjoyed this Table Runner Swap Recap and feel just as inspired as I do by everything that was made and shared. Our next swap is already in the works, and if you’d like a front-row seat (plus a free ticket), be sure to check out the Quilt Block Club. In the meantime, thank you to everyone who participated and made this such a fun and memorable experience!
