Hugs and Kisses Quilt Block
The Hugs and Kisses Quilt block is a fun and versatile quilt block! These blocks have also been called “X & O”. How cute! You can make an entire quilt with either the ‘X’ quilt block or an entire quilt of the ‘O’ quilt block. It is even better when you mix up the quilt pattern with a little bit of both! - For the Quilt Top pictured above, I made a total of (48) sets – which is actually 192 individual units. I will list the fabric requirements to make this many:
- Qty (1) Fat Quarter Bundle of Love Cats
- Qty (11) Fat Quarters of a variety of solids
- Pale Pink
- Silver
- Coral
- Poppy Red
- Christmas Red
- Rosebud
- Bubblegum
- Real Red
- Petunia
- Vintage Red
- Pewter
- Qty (1.5) yards of White
BASIC SEWING SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Sewing Machine (I use this machine for piecing)
- Cotton Thread (this is what I use)
- Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
- Acrylic Ruler
- Cutting Mat
- Iron (I love my Oliso Iron)
- Ironing Board (I love my Ironmatik Ironing Board)

Thank you for sharing Nicole. You are always so generous. We’re in Phoenix for the month of January and I’m finishing the project I brought quicker than I anticipated. So I’m on the hunt for some red fat quarter and a white background. I might get some Xs and Os done before we leave. : ) It is so fun to be away from home interruptions and commitments and be able to do whatever I want to do with my time.
