Description

When you want to learn something new, it can seem like everyone knows more than you do and even knowing what to search for can be a challenge. The best way to learn anything new is to take things step by step. Starting to sew can be simple if you find someone to help you learn.  When you learn to sew, you can open a world of opportunity for yourself.  Even if the first step is sewing on a button – that is still more than most people can do today.  Learn to sew!  You will use this skill for the rest of your life!

Did you just get a sewing machine and not sure how it works?  Do you have a particular project in mind?  Let’s work on this together!  Do you just need some basic guidance so you can complete your sewing project?  Let me help you!  When you purchase a Sewing Lesson Gift Certificate, this may be used for any Sewing Lesson by Sew Much Moore In Store.  Group Sewing Classes are sometimes scheduled and Private Sewing Lessons can be scheduled in advance.  Chose what works best for your needs and skill level.

Mother and Daughter Sewing - Learn to Sew

Private Lessons in your home

Based upon availability, I can come to your home and teach as much as you would like to learn.  All materials/supplies would be the responsibility of the student.  I will provide a materials/supply list, based upon the lesson.

Be sure to have your own machine and your owner’s manual.

We could discuss this in greater depth if you would like.  I charge $25.00 per hour. Additional charges may apply if I need to travel over 20 miles. I can also bring a machine, if you need to rent one.  Typical Private Lesson length is 1-2 hours (depending on what you would like to learn).

Group Lessons in my home

Based upon availability and with a minimum of (4) students, I teach a 2.5 – 4.0 hour lesson.  All materials/supplies would be the responsibility of the student.  Upon paid reservation, a material supply list will be emailed.

Group lessons are a great way to get your friends to join the fun.  Be sure to have your own machine and your owner’s manual.

I have extra machines, available for $10.00 rent, since not everyone has access to a working machine.

We could discuss this in greater depth if you would like.  I charge $25.00 per student with a (4) student minimum.  Because group sewing lesson seating is limited, no refunds will be allowed once a reservation is made.

I’ve never, ever sewn anything in my life. When buttons fall off clothing, that’s it! It’s time for a new shirt or jeans or whatever. Today, my girl and I FINALLY opened up her sewing machine I bought her 2 Christmases ago and took a sewing class together and had a GREAT time making memories. Our little pillows turned out great! Thanks, Nicole, for being such a great and patient teacher!
