I just love that little heart block!  I think I might make more and turn them into a cute little Mug Rug!

  1. Where can I find the pattern for the little heart that you show in the video?

    1. Nicole Moore says:

Hi Becky! Great question!! I mention above that the little FPP heart pattern is part of the Valentines Table Runner pattern, which is a free download. Navigate to that post and you can access that information from there! Happy Sewing and here is the link to take you right to the Valentines Table Runner post: https://www.sewmuchmoore.com/valentines-day-table-runner/

  2. That video was the missing link for me to understand how to paper piece! Thank you!

  3. Annette Duelke says:

Hi, I always wanted to learn to paper piece, but watching the video, I wonder if you don’t waste a lot of fabric? I am not being critical; I just want to understand. You use blocks of fabric, sew and cut off the excess fabric.

    1. Nicole Moore says:

It’s true that FPP will use more fabric than traditional piecing. However, the precise results are often worth the extra scraps!

  4. I have never done paper piecing. Anxious to learn

  5. Mug rugs are a great use of the cute little heart block!
